While the Super Bowl was holding its first Halftime Show celebrating west coast rap music only a stone’s throw from its birthplace, Compton, most Compton residents couldn’t afford a ticket to the game.

We used Verizon’s technology to help regular people crash rap’s first Super Bowl Halftime Show.

I jumped into a Super Bowl brief on my first day at R/GA. I wrote and re-wrote many iterations of scripts for two TV spots that ran during the Super Bowl to advertise the app and get engagement in the mobile experience. Worked closely with a hard-working team including Neil Bruce, AD Esther Lee, CD Ben Yabsley, CD Rene Van Wonderen, and GECD Xavier Teo / 张博贤.
